Your CoopCam’s Location Profile tells Eggstein+ (our AI system) how to monitor and interpret activity in different areas of your setup. Selecting the correct profile ensures you get accurate alerts and optimal performance.


Available Profiles:

  • Run: Perfect for the Smart Coop Run, designed to monitor outdoor activity while minimizing unnecessary motion alerts.
  • Roost: Best for inside your coop. Be sure to avoid placing the camera too close to the roosting bars, or you may get frequent motion notifications.
  • Brooder: Tailored for brooder boxes, ensuring you can keep an eye on your chicks as they grow.

  • Other: A versatile training mode that adapts to larger run areas or unique setups. It learns and adjusts to its environment over time.


How to Set It Up:

  • Open your app and select the Camera Settings icon.
  • Choose the camera you want to update.
  • Tap Location Profile and select the correct setting.
