How many chickens can live in the Coop?

The Coop (fully assembled with the attached run and base) comfortably accommodates up to 6 or more chickens if you are free ranging them, by providing 28 square feet of total floor space, 2 nesting areas, and 60 inches of roosting space. We have some customers that have up to 10 chickens in their coop depending on what breed they are, but I personally think that's too many. On average, chickens lay about 250 eggs a year (about 5 per week per chicken). So 6 chickens can generate 1500+ eggs per year!
